(6/2023) From organically-farmed, estate, dry-farmed, old Monastrell vines comes what we've joked for years is the answer to the question: "What's your best $13 California Cabernet?" Refinement and investment has continued over the years for this baby brother of "Clio," and 2020 is a wonderful installment. Notes of kirsch, blueberry, black plum, dried cranberry, kombu, charred wood and a whisper of toasted marshmallow carry on a seriously long, dry finish. An incredibly serious performer for $12.99!
