(11/2021) Sometimes you just want something simple, light and delicious -- this Joven or "young" bottling from Valderiz is the ticket! 100% Tinta del Pais, crafted from younger, organically-farmed estate vines -- presented in an unoaked, fresh and juicy style, it has a playful grapey red fruit tastiness that is quite appealing. Perfect as an autumn "cocktail hour" red, on a Tuesday with leftovers or even paired with Thanksgiving turkey, the 2020 Valdehermoso has no hard edges. Really well made and easy to drink, Grab a few bottles to drink now and over the next 2-3 years.
