(9/2023) The day-to-day job at Bruna Grimaldi is making MGA-specific Baroli, but we're also big fans of their rich, balanced Barbera d'Alba Superiore. Soaking up lower-laying southern exposures, the wine ferments in tank and ages in large neutral barrels for six months. Full of red cherry, lavender, thyme, spice, hazelnut, brambly berry and just the right amount of acidity. We were in the region around the 2019 harvest, and it was an ideal vintage for Barbera!
