(3/2023) We are absolutely smitten with this playful, delicious Alsatian white. A "kitchen sink" blend of 50% Riesling, 25% Muscat, 20% Pinot Blanc, 5% Sylvaner and Pinot Gris, the 2019 Gentil is one of the best values in our store. Everything about this wine is just flat out enjoyable. The super generous nose offers a cornucopia of citrus, tropical and orchard fruits. A wondrous, viscous texture awaits you on the palate, amplified by crisp, tantalizing acidity. This is a traditional Alsatian wine for a more than fair price.
