(1/2022) We adore the Champagnes of Guillaume Sergent. This is a TINY grower, located in the Premier Cru Village of Vrigny, and the wines are spectacular. This 50/50 blend of Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier comes from their "Les Grands Chemins les Chappes" parcel. The wine was disgorged in July of 2021, with only 2498 bottles for the entire world! This is an Extra Brut, which means it's bone dry, but it's also deliciously fleshy, with generous weight. Look for tasty red fruit, serious chalk minerality and a fine, tight mousse.
