(11/2022) This artisan bottling is one of the best kept secrets in Champagne. The base fruit is from the 2012 vintage, with reserve wine added from the prior three years. As you would expect from the village of Bouzy, the blend is dominated by Pinot Noir, with Chardonnay making up the remaining 20%. Popping the cork releases a patisserie full of delicate raspberry and strawberry notes along with apple, toasty brioche, cinnamon, hazelnut and a bit of citrus. Offering persistent froth and vibrant acidity, the palate is truly exhilarating. This is a must-buy.
