(7/2023) Don't be confused, this Italian white has nothing to do with Zinfandel! From a quality-minded co-op in Southern Italy's Puglia region comes this fresh, fun and highly-aromatic Fiano. The 20-year-old vines soak up all the Salento sunshine, delivering heaps of stone fruit and florals. The acidity is gentle, true to its origin, and its refreshing personality reminded us of a Greek Moschofilero. Background notes of tarragon, lemon, spruce, yellow lily and orange blossom cascade across a salty finish. Pair with the beach, fried zucchini blossoms, spicy sushi rolls or citrus cream-sauced pasta.
